Sobriety is a journey - it's challenging, it's beautiful, and I hate it just as much as I love it. Fear ruled my life - it's why I drank every night, it's why I loved doing coke, and it's why I spent so much time contemplating suicide.
If you want to get sober, it starts with surrender. You're gonna have to try faith, you're gonna have to stop lying to yourself, you're gonna have to ask for help, and you're gonna have to say you're sorry. A lot.
I don't do anything perfectly, but I did find freedom from drugs and alcoholism, and that's worth sharing. Hopefully my story will help you find a life worth living. Because life is beautiful, every broken part of it.
